Plastic Laminate Glues

I want to laminate 30 sheets of plywood for countertops. I've used a stack of melamine as a cold press in the past to laminate 1/8" cedar plywood to 3/4 when making cedar lined closets with good results.
What glue would I use when laminating Formica to plywood in a cold press. I'd prefer something with some water resistance. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

My first suggestion would be to use a different substrate for gluing the laminate to. Plywood isnt as stable as say a partical board substrate.
In terms of glue, are you gonna roll it? brush it? spray it?

Yes I'd much prefer to use mdf, or particle board but the Architect is specing Marine Grade Plywood and is insistent about it.
Planning to roll it.

I've always had good luck with Titebond cold press HPL

I just finished a project using marine grade plywood substrate with laminate on two sides. That was some REALLY nice material. Laminating it yourself without a press is simply a waste of time. My material supplier shipped the plywood to the laminator and the pieces came to me pressed. You can't buy the laminate and substrate for the cost of the finished panel.

I think you would need to use a contact glue.
formica is non porous so wood glue won't work.

Chris, Wood glue will most certainly stick laminate, in fact its one of the best adhesives for it given the right application.

I would agree with bruce, get someone with a press to glue it up for you. If that is not feasible or there is no one in your area I would use water base contact cement. Particle board and MDF are a flatter smoother surface than plywood, but they are not great for any applications where there is a chance of moisture,

KLEIBERIT 303.0 PVA With catalist will provide the water resistance.
