Metal Frame Door Hardware3/7
I am looking for hardware to mount a metal framed cabinet door that can lift up and retract into the cabinet. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Do you have more details on the door? What is the width and height? If you want the door to lift up then retract into the cabinet, it sounds like some typical flipper door hardware (KV or Accuride) might be the solution. Also, there are more than one type of hinge that can be used with a metal frame door depending on the width of the frame. Some Euro hinges are made specifically for "narrow" metal frames. If wide enough, a standard Euro hinge would be used.
Here are a couple of examples of metal door profiles and the hinges used.
I've once installed a door hardware by http://www.dooronthego.ca/door-repair/door-hardware/. They did a great job. I think you can contact them if you need any help. I'm completely satisfied with their service. i feel much more secured after installing the door hardware. Hope you find it useful.
