Who's responsibility is it normally to install appliance panels, the cabinet builder/installer or the appliance installer? If you supply/install the cabinets and panels, do you plan or and quote installing them?

I normally install the panels. Most of them are far from straight forward attachment.

We typically have the plumber or electrician do whatever hook ups are needed and then we install the panels. Occasionally we get lucky and there is an appliance installer hired to do the hook ups and the panels but that is a bit of a rarity.

We always install our panels. My thought is if the appliance guy does not install correctly who do you think is gonna get the phone call.
As Leo said, not all are a straight forward install.

I've been cheating on some of them because they are nearly impossible to install the way they require. Double sided tape makes for a quick and easy install on most panel applications.
I did an in house door and drawer replace and it was inset. So some of the drawer fronts I used tape on along with screws. Well 7 years later the lady wanted a refresh and try as I could some of the drawer fronts weren't coming off. I got one of them off and it took melamine with it along with the supporting particleboard. So over time it bonds pretty well.

I put that on the appliance installer.
I'm not risking screwing up somebody's $10k refrigerator
