I was wondering now that the program has been around for awhile, what are your thoughts? Is this good value for what you get? I am north of the border so it would cost me $2000 per year with our crappy dollar. 5 yrs equals $10000, adds up fast. Just wondering if this is the way to go or other options to consider?
As Rob Parker said, the other competing software has yearly expenses. If you want updates and/or support, you pay an annual fee.
At least with Cabinet Vision I do ($1250.00/year for one seat). And I did years ago with Cabinet Pro. Both good software, but I would never rely on it without support.
Yes I can keep using the the software I own, but once I stop paying support, I no longer get updates or any help.
Mozaik is the most cost effective option for smaller shops in my opinion.
I ran cabnetware for a long time. I wanted to go with Cabinet Vision when we got a router but had a very negative experience with Vero. They won't get a dime of my money or any positive comments.
Mozaik has been very helpful, the training fruitful, and I find their business model and behavior to be honest. Mozaik costs less than Vero's maintenance plan. And I didn't have to shell out $30k up front.
Iíve been using Mozaik for a couple years also and would highly recommend using this software. Like previous comments, itís been a positive experience. The money spent is easily recovered in jobs secured - easily pays for itself . Training was important to lessen the learning curve. I also use Vcarve Pro for the odd ball jobs but Mozaik is what I use everyday. The online forum is excellent resource
