Iím looking for another supplier for liquid stripper12/23
I normally use Benco and then someone else gave me another name....I think it was Flo-strip for 55 Gallon containers
I was using Benco B-7. Benco is having a shipping issue and canít even give me a date to ship to Chicagoland until the first or second week of 2020.
If Benco ships to me right now, it would need to go common carrier, which would cost me a few hundred more. The additional downfall is the common carrier wonít take the empty 55 gallon containers.
Who do you all use?
We did the switch about a year ago. Went to Flo-strip from using B-7. I would have go look at drum for the product number. We started seeing issues with Benco also, mostly short fills on paste stripper we bought in fives. Benco was awesome when Benny was running it !!
I did hear about the short fills from another company in Wisconsin. I think Iím going to give Flo-strip a try.
Do you find itís as strong of a stripper as Bencoís B-7?
I think it is. It has less wax in it than B-7. Also they activate in a slightly different way so smell is a little different. They will send out gallon samples for testing.
Flo-Strip is the company that bought Kwick Kleen. That means good products for sure as lng as they haven't modified the formula mixes.
I have used Z-Best paint stripper for years on all my projects and it works great! I purchase it from Lubricite.com I call to place order and they ship anywhere in US. I buy multiple 5 gallon pails at a time. Don't know if 55 gallon drums are offered.
Thank you to all of you who have given advice.
Couple of good things
1. Flo-strip will be shipping out next day. (Business days)...a few people, other than this forum have suggested them, so Iím trying them this go around
2. Safety-Kleen guy said I can use the 55 gal empty containers I have from Benco, to dispose my chemical waste, so he wonít need to charge me for another 55 gal.... since Flo-Strip doesnít take 55 gal empty containers back. I would need to find someone locally to me, who would charge me a few bucks to take it away.
If anyone has other coís, pls let me know. Thx!
