I have round tapered legs that I need to cut a 3 degree angle at the top and bottom. Any suggestions on how to secure them to cut the angles? Thanks

Make clamping collars by drilling the leg diameter in the center of a square or rectangular block then cut the blocks in half and secure around the legs with screws on the outside edges of collars or affix the blocks to a "sled" (ply/mdf base) and mount a destaco clamp in a way to hold the collar against the leg. Once the legs are secured in the collars you can cut the angle on a chop saw or miter gauge on the table saw. The collars would be similar to a metal shaft collar.
If the leg diameters are unusual sizes bore a slightly oversized hole and use a shimming material like a thin piece of rubber inside the collar that will contour and grip the round edge without damaging the surface.
