Tilt out hamper stay issue9/6/15
After several attempts, I'm about out of hair. I can't get the door to keep from slamming shut

I'm using a closet system i had manufactured for me, all based on a 32mm hole pattern. Can anyone lead me to reasoning as to why it's still slamming shut?
Try using " Free Swing" or "Soft Closer" hinges not self closers this might help to stop the slamming closed problem.

I'm not really familiar with the closer in your photo but would tend to agree with Dave that one of these two hinges might be your solution.
Another solution might be to use a Smove, soft close piston at the bottom (mounted on the side of the cabinet). The tension of the Smove is adjustable. Here are 2 Smoves and the part numbers. One is for normal weight doors, the other for heavier doors.
